When winter affects our motivation
Reframe the idea of productivity as seasons and circumstances change around us.
As we move deeper into this winter, many of us start feeling our motivation dip, our energy fade, or our bodies struggle with seasonal illnesses. If you’ve caught yourself thinking “I did nothing today,” I want to gently invite a reframe.
Try shifting it to something like:
“I rested today.”
“I listened to my body.”
“I gave myself what I needed.”
“I took care of myself in quieter ways.”
“I survived the day, and that’s enough.”
Your worth isn’t measured by productivity, especially during a season that asks so much of us. Rest is not failure; rest is care.
