“When we give ourselves compassion, we are opening our hearts in a way that can transform our lives.”

Amber Utter

Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor

MA, LPC, LCPC, LPCC, NCC, CIMHP, EMDRIA Certified Therapist

For over 10 years, Amber has provided a comforting and confidential environment for people of all ages to find inner peace and healing. She views herself as a helper, not a fixer. Her approach is energetic and empowering, balanced with compassion and warmth. Amber works with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck or worn thin by patterns that keep resurfacing – either from anxiety, unresolved trauma, relationship struggles or a deep sense of disconnection. Amber takes a primarily client-centered (also called person-centered) approach to therapy. This philosophy recognizes that people have the ability to find the best solutions for themselves. Amber’s role is in guiding clients to make their own discoveries. Her practice is mindful of clients’ past trauma and her work addresses their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being, tailored to fit each client’s unique needs.
